Starr Lowe

I absolutely love planning events and building relationships with my clients. I have been in the events industry for more than twenty years. My career began as a photographer and I fell in love with weddings, eventually leading me into event planning and management. This is by far the best decision I have ever made.
Your wedding day should be unique to you and your fiancé, there is no other love story like yours. We will focus on the details that tell your story, large and small, they are all important to me because they are important to you. I find joy in helping others and will work diligently to execute all of the elements of your day that are most special to you. My hope is that as I guide you through the planning process you will feel confident in your decisions and know that your wedding is in good hands.
I began coordinating weddings at The Cedars Wedding & Event Venue in Acworth, GA. I worked with some amazing couples and the ownership of the venue for nearly three years. Excited to grow my career, I accepted a position with Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, GA as a Special Events Manager in weddings. I wanted to learn more and transferred into Corporate Events where I gained a multitude of invaluable knowledge in sales and event planning.
One week prior to Covid, I entered a new role at Governors Gun Club to build and grow their events department for their two locations. I worked on the skeleton crew throughout the pandemic and was able to structure their events department and leave them with a successful plan in place when I decided to launch Starr Lowe Events.
